Zapata Family (December 2019)

The Zapata home was the first we had built in the Santo Domingo Norte region of the Dominican Republic. This family was chosen by their church for the lack of resources that they have and challenging health issues. We quickly saw why the Lord led us to this area, with many who we spoke with experiencing hurt within the church and belief that they weren’t enough to have a relationship with God. Both Pastor Argenis and the teams who helped build the home had many chances to share the Gospel as well as love the family and neighbors well. We pray that the home is a continued reminder to those we met that God is with them and that he loves them.
