The local church in the Ramirez’s neighborhood intervened after Naomi (who was several months pregnant) was contacted by a local witch doctor to aid in her delivery. She quickly declined and looked to the church to help her growing family. Experiencing sickness and living in horrendous conditions, the church nominated the Ramirez family for a new home. Now moved in, the family attends church regularly, and Naomi places an open bible over her newborn when napping in honor of the one true God, who showed love and protection over her and her family.
