Muiruri Family (Kenya – May 2025)

Peter and Margaret care for their very large family through peasant farming in Kenya. Their current mud shelter is overly crowded and houses them and their 6 children. They are food insecure and shared with our church partner they are ashamed of how they are living. They have been praying for dignity and decency and we pray their new home will give them just that.

During our April 2025 visit we learned Margaret’s testimony of her planting a patch of grass in faith seven years ago, praying the Lord would provide a safe new home in that location for the family to live in. PF was unaware of this prayer when she was selected for a new home – clearly, the Lord intervened on her behalf!

This home and family is a great reminder that God is faithful and hears our prayers! Margaret prayed faithfully for seven years. I’m sure she would have liked to had her prayer answered sooner, however, she still responded in praise and gratitude trusting God would answer in His time. We praise Him too for this gift, and ask you would continue to pray for the Muiruri family and that they would share boldly how God is at work in their lives.
