Monica and Family (Kenya – February 2020)

Monica is a widow and the head of a multi-generational home, sharing a shelter with her adult daughter and son and two grandchildren. The family lived in deplorable conditions, the shelter was full of holes, not safe nor secure. Even though Monica is elderly, she took it upon herself to search for water each day, sometimes traveling over four miles without the guarantee of finding any. They desired dignity for their new home and hope of a better future. With their new home and 10,000L water tank some of their daily worries have been addressed through this provision of God. As faithful members of the local congregation they give Him all the glory!
