Long-Awaited Return to the Dominican Republic!

It’s been two years since we have been back to the DR, but we had a great trip reconnecting with partners, churches and families we have served. It was encouraging to see the growth of the church, how during the pandemic pastors realized the importance of community outreach and seeing the church grow because of it. It was also exciting to see the resiliency of the families we have built homes for over the last few years. Some have started businesses out of their homes, others have taken steps of ownership and being a good steward of God’s gift to them, painting the home, decorating the outside, planting fruit trees and doing basic improvement projects, like tiling floors. We also were able to meet with new partners in the DR and discuss future plans, meet some of the people their church would like to serve and like the Bible says in Hebrews, overall spurring one another on in love and good deeds that will bring glory to God. Praying we will be able to resume build trips soon!
