We are excited to introduce you to our first home recipient in the country of Guatemala! Meet Lidia. Lidia is the sole caretaker for her family of four, which consists of her mother, her 30 year old brother who is unable to work due to a bone disease, and her 9 year old daughter, Olga Marina. Lidia seeks work daily, cleaning other peoples homes so she can feed and purchase medicine for the family.
We pray this new home relieves some burden for Lidia and through construction they are encouraged and deepened in faith that the Lord sees and loves them. As this is the first PF home in Guatemala, please pray that like the others we have built, it is a beacon of light in this community – a home as a symbol of hope, and that many come to know Jesus.
