August 2015 we started a home construction build for the Lorenzo family in Quisqueya, Dominican Republic. Jose is a pastor in the community and has had the hand in building homes and latrines for members of his community the last several years. After prayerful consideration the Lord laid on our hearts to bless this family in the same way they have blessed so many others. The team completed the siding, roof and part of the concrete purging during our time there. We also were able to build pews for Jose’s church (people would bring a chair from home) and had 30+ children from the neighborhood for a kids program.
